About Bill McCollum
Little is known about this radio icon.  Here are a few of the facts we know for sure.

“Uncle Bill” was born and raised in Iowa and has been with WBEV-WXRO since 1963. He is a big sports fan and loves the Brewers, Packers and Badgers.  While ice cream used to be Bill’s favorite food he now fancies an apple or a banana instead.  Bill has been the morning announcer for as long as anyone can remember and is responsible for starting the WXRO Barn Show.  Bill thought “Hey, no one else is playing Polka music we might as well do it”! Uncle Bill and on-air partner John Moser have been broadcasting together for over 30 years and look forward to sharing an afghan together in the distant future!
